HGV Class 1 driver - Highways
Staffordshire and surrounding - £11-14ph DOE
I am currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers, to start ASAP on behalf of my client who provide specialist highways services.
You MUST have:
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 (or LGV) with full CPC (35 hours)
- CSCS card essential
- Previous highways, civils or similar experience
- NRSWA / Street works preferred
Must be happy getting out of lorry and assisting with General Groundworks / Labouring
You will be assisting road crews on contract with delivery of construction / aggregate materials using HGV class 1 lorries. Your role is to drive the HGV class 1, fetching, delivering and shifting materials. You will also be required to muck in with the gangs carrying out roads / footways maintenance.
This will be an immediate start and will be ongoing works - long term for the right person.
