Highways Asset Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

Highways Asset Manager required for a national organisation located around Lancashire who are looking to employ an experienced Highways Asset Manager to provide technical support/ direction and guidance across their four Technical Partnerships, external clients and stakeholders.

What the role involves:

Some of the main duties of the Highways Asset Manager include:

  • Working with a variety of Technical Partnerships, External Clients and stakeholders across the UK providing technical direction, guidance and support
  • As the Highways Asset Manager, you'll provide support for the growth and implementation of the Highway Asset Management Plan and Framework
  • Provide updates to senior officers/ nominated members
  • Attend briefings and meetings relating to highway asset management
  • Develop and contribute into the operation of asset management policies/practices in line with the ISO55000 framework

Highways Asset Manager key skills and experience:

In order to be the successful Highways Asset Manager and have a chance of joining this great organisation you'll need to have the following:

  • Understanding and knowledge of the principles of asset management
  • Have previous experience of Highways Asset Management including HMEP and DfT requirements
  • Knowledge of the requirements for ISO55000
  • Educated to HND/HNC level qualification or equivalent
  • Good ability to work with low level of supervision
  • Good communication skills
