About the Highways Technician Role:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a global consultancy with offices in 125 different countries?
Our client specialises within a range of different sectors, for example; Energy, Water, Transportation, Property, Defence and government services.
This position is for a Highways Technician to join the Highways division in Newark with flexibility for agile working if wanted!
Job Responsibilities for the Highways Technician:
- Liaison with fellow construction professionals and managers within the development of designs
- Production of AUTOCAD and Civils 3D drawings for technical approval and construction
- Liaison with Statutory Bodies (e.g., Highways England or Local Authority)
- Work on projects across a variety of sectors
Key Requirements for the Highways Technician:
- HNC in Civil Engineering
- AUTO CAD- experience required
- Experience in the production of S278/S38
- Excellent Communicator
Desirables for Highways Technician:
- Previous experience in the use of 3D Civils and Micro-drainage software packages
