HR Manager / HR Advisor urgently needed to join our back-office team in East Grinstead

  • Salary: £15,000 - £32,000 per annum pro-rata (depending on experience)
  • 20 days holiday pro-rata + Bank Holidays moving up to a maximum of 25 days pro-rata

What the role entails
Some of the main duties of the HR Manager / HR Advisor will include but not be limited to:

  • Collect and process all information in respect of new starters, set up on our database; Simply Personnel and inform relevant internal employees
  • Produce Offer of Employment letter and Contract of Employment and distribute
  • Collect Registration form and other personnel information pertaining payroll processing and forward to the Payroll department
  • Collect and process information in respect of all leavers
  • Produce relevant letters for leavers and inform internal employees of any actions
  • Conduct Exit interviews and record
  • Record all other confidential correspondence between Gold and the employee
  • Recording Sickness on Simply Personnel
  • Employee Holiday maintenance on Simply Personnel
  • Assist with the production of disciplinary/grievance procedures
  • Review, manage and record the 6 monthly and annual Appraisals
  • Creation, distribution and recording of salary review letters
  • Providing confidential listening and counselling service to all staff

What you need to be the successful HR Manager / HR Advisor
In order to be the successful HR Manager / HR Advisor and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

  • Attention to detail
  • CIPD Level 3 or above, ideally level 5 or higher but not essential
  • Friendly and warm personality
  • Excellent time management and capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Experience of writing policies & procedures
  • Good working knowledge of up to date Employment Law
  • IT literate
