Are you a talented and passionate Human Factors Engineer with expertise in the medical industry?
We are working with a leading consultancy in London that is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team. As a Human Factors Engineer, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies to the usability and research of innovative products and services within the medical devices / Healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your in-depth understanding of various human factors principles and methodologies to inform the design, usability and research of medical products.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and user-centered design activities to optimize product usability and enhance the user experience.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate human factors considerations into all stages of product development, from concept to market launch.
  • Prepare high-quality technical documentation and reports, effectively communicating complex ideas to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Independently manage multiple projects, ensuring flexibility and organization to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, research, and technical knowledge related to human factors engineering and the medical industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Factors, Psychology, Usability Engineering, or a related field. Previous relevant industry experience and other degrees will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying human factors principles and methodologies to the design and evaluation of products and services, particularly within the medical industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality technical documentation and present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to quickly acquire and apply new industry and technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in relevant human factors tools and software is a plus.
