Human Factors Consultant.
£57,000 - £64,000 + Benefits Package.
We have a new position open for a Human Factors Consultant within a Safety Engineering Team in one of the UK's best known Nuclear facilities. To be suitable for this role you will bring an Engineering Degree (or a proven background in a related field).
You will be leading the Human Factors input on projects allocated to you, delivering on HF tasks and developing strong client relationships.
The role requires you to undertake a variety of tasks that help to ensure Human Factors is fully integrated in the lifecycle of existing and also future projects. That would include scoping work, supporting development of designs to ensure Human Factors elements have been considered as good practice and working with Safety Engineers to make sure Safety Cases pay due consideration to Human Factors requirements.
Lead the Human Factors discipline.
Deliver tasks related to Human Factors that meet time, cost and quality requirements.
Strive to continually improve Human Factors methodology.
Show a continuous learning attitude towards Human Factors.
Represent Human Factors in meetings.
Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Psychology or Ergonomics (OR equivalent industry and discipline experience)
Willing to seek and understand complex issues in HF.
Shows a flexible approach to working in a team environment.
Great ability to interact with other staff and personnel at all levels of seniority.
Proven report writing skills.
