My client is looking for an experienced Modern Workspace Engineer to join our growing IT Platform team. This person will be responsible for architecting and deploying Microsoft Cloud technologies across the organisation during a time of exceptional growth. You will join a small agile team and be required to learn and understand the complex world of venture capital and early-stage startup investments.
My client is heavily invested in the Microsoft technology stack and therefore deep knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft 365 stack and Azure is essential. We are a friendly team of tech enthusiasts, and we are looking for a motivated, experienced engineer to help us improve and grow this innovative FinTech platform.
What you'll do:
- Lead the technical planning and delivery of workplace solution projects, providing technical direction and guidance to business stakeholders.
- Deliver all technical aspects of all modern workspace solutions
- Act as technical authority on workplace tools and related cloud technologies.
- Develop and refine the modern workplace solutions roadmap for continuous improvement, innovation, and evolution in line with the overall architecture strategy.
- Provide technical assistance and support to other members of the Platform team.
Who you are:
- Strong understanding of identity (Azure AD, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access)
- Strong experience in Windows 11 and MACOS device lifecycle management
- Experience of automating tasks using power automate and powershell.
- Demonstrable experience architecting and deploying various Microsoft 365 solutions
- Microsoft Windows build (Autopilot) and software distribution experience
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint manager
- SharePoint and Onedrive data management, including the use of Azure Information Protection and data retention policies
- Microsoft Compliance Manager knowledge and experience
- Azure Virtual Desktop experience
- Excellent communicator at all levels, across both IT and Business stakeholders and teams
- Good grasp of IT Service Management and IT Operational Frameworks
- Assist with providing training and business communications to drive the adoption of new and existing workspace tools
- Relevant industry certifications
- Passionate about delivering customer service and service excellence.
- Be able to challenge the status quo with modern thinking and technology change.
