Role profile

• Strategic Input - Developing investment strategies on a global and micro scale within their chosen fields (tech parks and campuses; logistics & industrial; senior living) and geographies (UK, Europe)
• Continually monitoring and assessing the viability of those strategies relative to the requirements of their capital and highlighting where there may be a divergence
• Developing new strategies
• Monitoring markets with an eye on distress
  
• Origination - sourcing deals and transactions within the strategic vision of the group
  
• Developing Pipeline - Continual research and relationships deepened into relevant sectors and geographies
  
• Business Plan Analysis and Building - Taking deals from origination through internal process and execution. Working with an Analyst/Associate on all necessary work streams (initial DD, Excel (cashflows), PPT (IMs and similar)
  
• Deal Execution - Management of transaction (overseeing, coordination and completing DD) through to handover to asset management team
  
• Fundraising link - Provision of investment performance/transaction target data to BD team and liaising with them to raise equity and source debt
  
• Partner and Equity sourcing - Finding, targeting and executing on strategic partnering with equity and debt providers
  
• Ongoing oversight -
• High level monitoring of investments and overseeing interaction between investment analysts and asset managers for investor/bank reporting. Oversight of execution of asset business plan
• Strategic buy/sell/hold advice
  
• Reporting Lines -
• Management of transaction team (including external advisors, directly or through relevant internal specialists)
• Reports directly to Head of Investment and will present to Group Management Committee and IC on investment transactions

Remuneration

The following ranges are broad but indicate a range of options, the role has little/no responsibility for business/client development:

• Salary - £125-200k
• Bonus - 50-100% of salary
• Carry - TBC but likely to be approx. 10% on deals sourced and leads. A small amount may also be offered on non-originated deals
