The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a IT Project Manager?
- Overseeing the alignment of business requirements with associated projects, while coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and third-party vendors as necessary to ensure successful project execution.
- Accountable for overseeing project delivery within the assigned program of work, while ensuring customer business needs are effectively managed and fulfilled throughout the process.
- Make certain that AIR governance and service delivery standards, such as the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) when applicable, are integrated into every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that the quality of reporting and metrics meets the standards set by Digital Transformation Services (DTS) and uphold the governance framework established by the DTS Project Management Office (PMO) for project delivery.
What are we looking for in our next IT Project Manager?
- Previous experience of project delivery
- Handling multiple projects at a time
- Knowledge of the understanding and translation of requirements
- Stakeholder & supplier management of projects and allocated programmes of work
- Good working knowledge of a project manager toolset
- A qualification/certificate such as PRINCE, ITIL, PMI is desirable
