IT Service Desk Analyst
£24,000 - £28,000
Job Responsibilities
- Utilise Service Desk call logging software to log, monitor, update and resolve customer problems & incidents in line with Service Level Agreements
- Identify, analyse and where possible, resolve problems with computer hardware, telecommunications and software
- Liaise with team members and escalate tickets to senior engineers where appropriate.
- Maintain and updates asset registers & knowledge bases
- Utilise, maintain and create where appropriate, documentation for all IT systems and functions
- Undertake daily system checks to ensure IT system availability
- Deploy workstations and printers
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Proven experience in an IT Service Desk role or recently completed an NVQ, HNC, BSc in IT or a related subject
- Experience on Windows 10 Desktop support and maintenance
- Experience of Active Directory and mangement of user accounts
- Solid trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Good communicator comfortable in a client facing role
- Good written communication skills, able to maintain documentation relating to support activities
- Driving licence (able to travel to Faslane, Helensburgh on a daily basis)
- SC (Security Clearance) will be required to perform this role
Desirable Skills
- Experience of using Service Desk call logging software to log, monitor, update and resolve customer problems & incidents in line with Service Level Agreements using ITIL methodology.
SC Clearance is required for this position
