IT Support Engineer needed for a highly reputable and leading Defence organisation based in Bristol who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded IT Support Engineer that takes pride in their work with experience in 2nd/3rd line support, IT incident logging software to monitor SLA's and experience of managing Windows server and Windows 10.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the IT Support Engineer will include:
Working as part of the Technology Services department you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a secure remote working solution. You will support that it remains secure and available, supporting and patching Windows servers.
What experience you need to be a successful IT Support Engineer:
- Experience of using IT incident logging software to log, monitor, update and resolve problems & incidents in line with Service Level Agreements
- Experience of managing and utilising a patch management application for Windows Server/Desktop such as WSUS or SCCM or other recognised industry standard application.
- Experience of managing Windows Server and Windows 10 desktop.
- Experience of Deploying/Maintaining remote infrastructure and devices
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of administering VMware Horizon
- Experience of VPN/networking support and maintenance
