Java Developer (Dutch Speaking)

Lead Java Developer - 12 mnonths+

You will be part of the multidisciplinary CSM team (Customer Settlement and Markets) that is responsible for the delivery of various services to internal and external customers. For this position you will work in a new scrum team that will be building the new settlement module in the coming years. In the first instance (estimated 2 to 3 months) you will participate in existing teams to acquire knowledge, and you will contribute ideas about the architecture of the module. If there is sufficient clarity here, you are the one who will set up a new scrum team together with the responsible team manager. Together with this team you will actually build what has been devised.

The unit are increasingly moving towards DevOps, which means that you are also responsible for managing the applications you build. The CSM department has an open and informal working atmosphere.

The main activities are:

• Help form a new Scrum team.
• Coaches and supervises junior and medior software engineers and new team members
• Stimulates collaboration between teams
• Collaborates with the solution architects and other leads on the software architecture
• Drafts technical designs for software systems
• Thinking about how new features are implemented
• Implementing new features in the application
• Coordination with stakeholders from the business and other agile teams working in the same environment
• Implementing support on the application in production
• Contributing to the streamlining of our development process and standards
• Contributing to the transition from Agile to DevOps.

Your skills:

• You have completed a Bachelor or Master in technical IT (Informatics or comparable
• training)
• You have at least 5 years demonstrable experience as a Java / JEE developer, preferably with Java 8 / JEE7 (JPA, JMS, EJB, JAX- RS)
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Native environments and migration to them. Using programming frameworks such as Sping boot, Quark
• And using Object store techniques in addition to relational data storage

• You have experience with frameworks such as Spring boot and Quark
• Knowledge of OO design and design patterns;
• You have experience with JBoss / weblogic
• Experience with building restful and soap services
• Knowledge of and affinity with various development, Continuous Delivery and test tools, such as Jenkins, SonarCube, Git and XL Deploy.
• Knowledge and experience with FitNesse or Cucumber is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Oracle ADF, RichFaces and Swing is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Angular 2+, HTML5 and JavaScript is a strong plus
