Managing Quantity Surveyor

I have an opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning infrastructure contractor at their offices in Central London. The Managing Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with overseeing the commercial delivery of a £40m portfolio of projects within the power sector and play a key role in the development of a team of 8 surveyors ranging from Assistants through to Seniors.
Supporting the Commercial Manager, the Managing Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the day to day management of projects valued from £1m through to £10m. These projects are for clients including NG & UKPN and will include new cable installations, the building of new substations, tunnels and M&E fit out. As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for projects through the full life cycle from procurement through to final account negotiation.

Managing Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have:
- HND, Degree or similar in a relevant subject
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a main contracting environment
- Familiar with the NEC suite of contracts
