Global Marketing and Sales Operations Leader - Linac Solutions

Description

Global Marketing & Sales Operation Leader for the Linac Solutions portfolio (Linacs, QA, TPS)

The role is responsible driving Sales and Marketing operations for the respective portfolio through the development and execution of marketing and commercial programmes, campaigns and sales enablement initiatives.

This entails strategic pricing and positioning, marketing planning, product marketing, product expert support, alignment with clinical marketing as well as driving commercialization (launch) to bring new products to market as well as life cycle management in close collaboration with the respective portfolio management and regional point of contact partners.

Responsibilities -

Marketing Themes:

  • Strategy & Programme development, consolidation & measurement across Linac Solutions portfolio
  • Articulate presentations on the Vision across the portfolio
  • Coordinate & consolidate commercial roadmap <product launches, programmes, campaigns & activities across the Linac Solutions portfolio Competitive intelligence (daily and on long term)
  • Market share analysis & coordination
  • Order intake process - product/marketing input
  • Implement tools and processes to improve commercialization efficiency across the Business line
  • Drive initiatives to better leverage Sales Force in Marketing
  • Campaign management (process & quality of campaigns)
  • Deploy and monitor key performance indicators on collateral uptake and content performance and update sales tools as necessary relevant to front line sales and market feedback
  • Animate internal communication from Marketing Linac solutions
  • Own Marketing Budget coherence and monitoring
  • Executing Briefing Center: drive content, format & quality of presentations for the Linac solutions portfolio

Sales Themes:

  • Support and initiate Sales Excellence initiatives
  • Drive sales training activities across the portfolio (content, format, quality)
  • Loopio champion for linac portfolio
  • CLM champion for sales (Sales funnel development & reporting)
  • Drive Pricing initiatives including price setting, getting & netting
  • Own Navigate + CPQ interface for Linac Solutions
  • Support strategic sales team initiatives
  • Collaborate with E&T & Service teams to propose total solutions approach across the portfolio
  • Coordinate communication and operating mechanism between Business Lines and Regional leads

General

  • Establish close alignment with Regional point-of-contact to ensure voice of the market and voice of the customer is well represented in the product development process as well as key commercial decisions such as positioning, pricing and other critical strategic initiatives.
  • Establish dotted-line alignment with Regional Marketing to ensure successful sales enablement and upstream communication of market issues and trends to support successful go-to-market and competitive strategies.
  • Establish dotted-line alignment with Clinical Marketing to develop a proof-point / evidence engine aligned to support key claims and positioning statements to strengthen product value propositions and competitive positioning
  • Establish proper alignment and coordination with the Portfolio Team, to ensure critical links to product development and strategy are not broken, as well as close collaboration with other key stakeholders

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

  • University Degree - preferably with technical, clinical or business background, Graduate degree preferred
  • >8 years experience in marketing role, Sales experience would be a plus.
  • Sufficient understanding of the RT and / or Informatics market, products and clinical usage
  • Track record in working in complex, multi-functional, multi-cultural and international environments
  • Persistent and persuasive behaviour to own and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to serve as a product evangelist and communicate the long-term vision for the product line
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial mind-set - not shying away from doing groundwork when needed
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Willing to travel 30% of time
  • Location: Crawley
