Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Project Engineer needed urgently for our client, a globally successful electronics manufacture company in Wimborne who have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. Key responsibilities that Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for:

- Provide engineering expertise from the conception of a manufacturing process to its conclusion.
- Evaluates products by designing and conducting appropriate design, development, verification and validation methods.
- Applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics and materials
- Using analytical techniques to design out potential design and process failures
- Applying development life cycles to cascade customer requirements through to validation design
- Supports the development products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing

What you need to have in order to apply to be the Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Project Engineer in a role that you can't miss out on!

- Experience working with a variety of mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly techniques including welding, brazing and high vacuum
- Experience working with detailed drawing packs
- Experience designing jigs and fixtures
- Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM/A and Root cause analysis
- Knowledge of full product and project life cycle
