An experienced Mechanical Technician is required to play a key role in the production and assembly of a variety of high-pressure hoses & pipes for the aerospace and defence market.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Mechanical Technician?

• To assemble new build products & carry out repair of customer products in accordance with the drawings & manufacturing instructions.
• To undertake fault diagnosis of units that fail the ATP, & provide a comprehensive strip report for customer returns.
• Identify problems/issues and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence
• Review you job progress on an annual basis with the objective of achieving continuous improvement.

What are we looking for in our next Mechanical Technician?

• Possess a formal engineering qualification (NVQ/C&G/ONC etc.)
• Hold 3 years' experience within an aerospace/defence/engineering environment
• Have experience in the production of high-pressure hoses/pipes
• Have a minimum of 6 months broad based cell experience
• Have a thorough knowledge of continuous improvement methods, in particular LEAN
