An experienced Network Systems Engineer is required to play a key role in leading and managing activities working in partnership with project Technical Leads, Tools Capability leads and Project Managers to ensure a consistent approach to the creation, delivery and support of products and advice.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Network Systems Engineer?
- Responsibility for the technical management of specific, delegated projects and as such you are the technical point of contact for customers.
- You be expected to engage with our customers to understand their future aspirations with respect to capability, elicit and understand their requirements, and manage the process of analysis and decomposition of the requirements to ensure the resultant product is suitable for integration.
- Provide technical support in terms of the creation of the Technical Delivery Plans supported by Systems Engineers to develop robust technical solutions.
What are we looking for in our next Network Systems Engineer?
- Have experience with Computer network architectures, protocols and analysis including client/server, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP and Wireshark.
- You will ideally have knowledge and understanding of a Systems Engineering principles and lifecycles including requirements, design and testing and obsolescence management.
- Have the ability and willingness to travel to other locations in the UK and abroad to support external supplier testing and trials will also be necessary.
