Paraplanner (experienced)

Paraplanner needed for a growing financial organisation based in Surrey who are looking to employ an experienced Paraplanner with an in-depth knowledge of the Pensions market!

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Paraplanner will include:
* Provide extensive technical support to the Managing Director and provision of recommendation letters
* Produce and provide Quarterly Management Information to Board
* Create and circulate Quarterly Newsletter to clients
* Assist the Managing Director in creation of robust and repeatable processes and suitable systems to support this (for future business expansion)
* Communicate with selected clients (face to face or remotely) and third parties to build and maintain good long-term relationships
* To attend client meetings if requested
* Undertake appropriate professional development and training, update industry, compliance and regulatory knowledge and complete minimum CPD requirements through self-study and industry training/updates

What you need to be the successful Paraplanner:
In order to be the successful Paraplanner and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* QCA Level 4 as minimum and ideally working towards CII chartered status or CISI / Certified Financial Planner
* Both experience of Final Salary transfers and AF3 a distinct advantage
* High level of technical knowledge across all financial planning areas including, but not limited to; Pensions/Retirement, Investments, Protection, Tax-Efficient Products/Solutions, Estate Planning, Equity Release etc
* Ability to use technical financial planning tools, financial modelling and back office software: AO, Defaqto, FE Analytics etc
* Articulate - able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form and have a very good understanding of Microsoft Office tools
