An enthusiastic Pension Administrator is needed for a successful financial services group based in West Sussex

Purpose of the Pension Administrator:

Working with the Pension Servicing Team you will be responsible for the ongoing servicing of their SIPP book of business. This will include processing death claims, pension sharing orders, changes to client records, valuations and information requests from clients or advisers within the company's service level agreements (SLAs), as well as issuing statements or other documentation to clients in accordance with Financial Service Authority (FCA) rules

Some of the main duties the Pension Administrator will include:

* Ensure annual renewal packs are produced and issued to clients within the required timeframe
* Update case records when notified of a client death, and request the necessary documentation and information to process the death claim
* Make recommendations to the Pension Trustees as to the beneficiaries for a death claim
* Make payment of death claims
* Request valuations from investment providers, update systems with valuation data and provide valuations to clients and financial advisers
* Create and issue pre-retirement packs to clients within required timeframes as set by the FCA
* Respond to queries or requests for information about cases from clients, financial advisers and other parties within company SLA
* Process any changes to existing cases such as changes to client details or changes of financial adviser
* Process correspondence received from investment companies
* Liaise with financial advisers to request any information or documentation required to process requests received and to give updates on progress
* Input application data onto our administration systems
* Ensure the standard and non-standard investments held within the existing book of business are serviced in accordance with company policies and SLAs
* Ensure that all processing is completed within company SLA and highlighting to management where this is not the case

Requirements needed for the ideal Pension Administrator:

* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above
* Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate in Financial Services
* Chartered Insurance Institute Award in Life and Pensions Foundation
* Experience of working in a regulated financial services environment
* Experience of adhering to policies and processes in a work based environment
* Demonstrable experience of working to service level agreements and deadlines
* Administration in a Financial Services environment
* CF1 Qualified (desired)
