People Partner / HR Manager

People Partner / HR Manager needed for a software organisation based in London who is self-motivated, people-focused and results-driven. and must have proven experience with the end-to-end employee lifecycle. The People Partner / HR Manager sits within the People & Operations team, and reports to the Head of People & Operations. In this role, you'll be working on all things people-related, supporting people initiatives and working closely with managers across the business.
The successful People Partner / HR Manager will desirably be degree qualified and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a human resource and/or people-based role, ideally within a fast-growing organisation.

The typical responsibilities of the People Partner / HR Manager are:
- Own the employee onboarding process by supporting the hiring manager in developing on-boarding and 30/60/90 plans, managing the probation review process, and taking care of all system on-boarding
- Manage all aspects of the employee offboarding process, including exit interviews
- Responsible for owning the structure, process and continuous improvement of Annual Appraisals
- Create and lead a learning & development plan and budget, with a view to implementing a more formal employee training program internally
- Embrace diversity and inclusivity by valuing difference and culturally engaging with our workforce
- Embrace employee wellbeing programs and ensure mental health, wellbeing activities and health campaigns play a prominent part in our employees' tenure
- Support the People & Operations team in a wide range of administration when required, this includes but is not limited to managing our HRIS and providing employee guidance with certain aspects, such as holiday bookings, illness tracking and document management
What experience you need to be the successful People Partner / HR Manager
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a human resource and/or people-based role, ideally at a fast-growing organisation/start-up/scale-up
- Proficient knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience with HR compliance
- Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable
