Performance Reporting Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Performance Reporting Manager to join a leading main contractor on a major project based in Birmingham. They will be responsible for providing support to the construction teams and performance managers in reporting delivery performance against the baseline programme and other key performance measures.

Duties

  • Timely and accurate reporting of production measures and metrics for area of responsibility
  • Data validation and analysis.
  • Review and interrogate the planned production programme to ensure it is developed by the sublot teams to the required quality to report and control delivery.
  • Effectively using IT and systems as a key enabler for gathering and timely and accurate reporting on programme performance
  • Implement and monitor compliance against defined processes and standards, including HS2 requirements.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with a good aptitude for data handling and analysis to join a new team responsible for delivering a complex scheme in the Midlands offering long term secured work in the region. The opportunity will suit candidates with a Site Engineering, Project Controls of Planning background.


Candidate

  • Expertise in managing data sourced from databases and in Excel
  • Analytic skills to interrogate data, identify trends and performance improvement measures.
  • Familiarity with planning software, especially: Primavera (all versions), TiLOS, Synchro.
  • Some experience of planning, project control and performance reporting within large complex environments within the construction industry.
  • An understanding of the construction industry, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Aptitude for logic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of stakeholders and customers.

This is a hybrid position where the Performance Reporting Manager will split their working week between the office in Birmingham circa 3 days per week with the remainder working remotely from home. On offer is competitive salary plus an attractive package including subsistence and living allowance for those working away from home.
