A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on AMP7 Framework for Thames Water. They will join a major name in the construction industry who have a wealth of experience within the UK water industry delivering key projects for local water authorities up and down the country.
The Planning Engineer will join an experienced team responsible for a large portfolio of schemes within the 5 years framework. Working across the Thames Valley they will be responsible for cradle to grave planning, producing tender programmes and managing the construction programme for live projects.
The Planning Engineer will be provided with an exciting variety of projects, a minimum of 5 years guaranteed work in the region and support from senior management to develop your career within planning.
They are looking for an individual with a minimum of 3 years planning experience, someone who can demonstrate a track record planning projects within either the Water or Civil Engineering sectors for UK main contractors. They must have an engineering background, preferably a HND / HNC / Degree and have a good knowledge of construction techniques and processes. They will also need to be strong users of Primavera P6 and have a good working knowledge of NEC form of contract.
Candidate
- Hold a construction related qualification - Degree / HNC / HND
- Minimum 3 years planning experience working for UK main contractors
- Strong site based experience
- Experience working within the Water or Civil Engineering sectors
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6
- Good working knowledge of NEC form of contract
