Planning Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Engineer to join the specialist division of a leading main contractor based in Manchester. With their turnover growing year on year they are looking to reinforce their planning capabilities with a Senior Planning Engineer to be responsible for a portfolio of signaling and telecoms projects.

The Senior Planning Engineer will join a major player in UK main contracting, a specialist in the delivery of complex infrastructure schemes. They will primarily be responsible for contract planning, working with the site teams to deliver their projects within time and budget. Additionally when required they will support the pre-construction team by producing competitive tender programs.

Candidate

• Minimum of 4 years planning experience
• Experience working within a rail environment
• Strong site based experience
• Proficient user of Primavera P6
• NEC contract experience is essential
• Good understanding of construction and how a project comes together
• Excellent communication skills
