An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer with three plus years of experience to join a leading name in the construction based in Derby. The Planning Engineer will join their specialist division that focuses on major projects with the power sector.
The Planning Engineer will join an experienced team, reporting into the Planning Manager they will be involved on projects throughout their full life-cycle, from inception through to completion. They will support the Senior Planners in the team with daily planning activities, using Primavera P6 to plan a wide variety of projects across the Power Sector which are valued between £1-100m.

The Planning Engineer will be provided with the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to major projects at tender and contract stages whilst being provided with support from the management team.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.
- 3 years plus planning experience
- Hold an engineering related qualification HND/HND/Degree
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6
- Have a background in main contracting and possess strong site based experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of construction techniques and processes
