An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer with a background in construction to join a leading name in main contracting, a major player in the industry that are highly regarded for their expertise in providing construction solutions to clients across the UK.
The Planning Engineer will join a highly experienced team, based out of modern offices in Cardiff they will be responsible for planning projects from tender stage through to completion, the full life-cycle of schemes across South Wales. The projects cover a wide variety of sectors and are typically valued between £10-150m.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planning Engineer to work alongside a talented team who have secured a solid pipeline of exciting projects across the region. They offer industry leading training and development programmes along with support from the senior management team to help achieve your career objectives.
The Planning Engineer will have UK construction industry experience which has been gained within a main contracting environment, some site-based experience and experience using Asta Powerproject planning software.
Candidate
- Experience working within a main contracting environment
- Site based construction experience
- Working knowledge of planning software packages either Asta Powerproject of MS Project
- Good understanding of construction and its techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
On offer is a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum which is dependent upon experience plus an attractive package which includes a company car or car allowance of £5,000, travel allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, 33 days holiday and other great benefits.
