An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Engineer to lead the planning on a major infrastructure project north of Birmingham. They will join the busy civil engineering division a major name in the construction industry, a highly regarded organisation that has a rich history in providing engineering solutions to their clients in the UK.
The Planning Engineer will be site based on a challenging civil engineering project. They will be responsible for managing the construction programme in Primavera P6, working closely with the Project Director and ensuring the programme is communicated to the site team.

The Planning Engineer will have a minimum of 3 years planning experience gained within a main contracting environment. They must have strong site based experience, a solid understand of civil engineering and proficient in the use of Primavera P6.
Candidate
- Qualification within a civil engineering discipline is desirable.
- Good knowledge and experience of civil engineering
- Main contracting background.
- Strong knowledge of one of the main planning software packages - Primavera P6, MS Project, Asta Powerproject
- Strong communication skills
