An exception opportunity has arisen for a Planning Manager to join a major force in the UK construction industry based in London to head up their tendering department. The Planning Manager will play a key role in the busy pre-construction team of a leading main contractor who are experts in the delivery of delivering key infrastructure projects across the UK.
Reporting into the Pre-Construction Director the Planning Manager will be accountable for the tender planning function, they will lead a team of Planning Engineers that are responsible for producing competitive tender programme for major infrastructure projects across the civil engineering spectrum.

Candidate
- Demonstrate a track record of working within a main contractors pre-construction team.
- Solid background in tender planning and experience on a major infrastructure projects in the UK.
- Advanced user of Primavera P6.
- Expert knowledge of civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of NEC contract
- Excellent leadership and management abilities
- Possess first class communication skills.
- Team player
- Hold a construction related qualification - Degree/HNC/HND
On offer is a competitive basic salary of between £80-90,000 per annum plus an attractive salary that includes an annual car allowance of £8,000 or company car, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, annual bonus and other great benefits.
