  • Support hardware and software integration for real-time control applications.
  • Develop and execute system test plans, ensuring compliance with functional and safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot control system issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate control systems into larger products.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering methods, modelling techniques and validation processes.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree (BEng, MEng or PhD) in Control Systems, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience designing control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Strong understanding of motor control theory, including electric machines, drive systems and closed-loop control.
  • Experience modelling, simulating and validating control algorithms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting control systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable

  • Field Oriented Control (FOC), vector control or sensorless motor control.
  • PMSM, BLDC, induction or synchronous motor drive systems.
  • Microprocessor or DSP implementation of real-time control algorithms.
  • Embedded control software development.
  • HMI or diagnostic interface development.
  • Serial communication protocols including CAN, SPI, I²C or UART.
  • Dynamic system modelling and coordination studies.
  • Control system verification, validation and performance testing.
  • Functional safety or safety-critical control systems.
