PPC Manager

Currently looking for a PPC Manager to join one of the top independent photographic retailers in the UK, serving the needs of all photographers, whether that be enthusiasts or professionals.

Purpose of the PPC Manager:

A great opportunity has arisen for a PPC Manager to join the eCommerce Team. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce and working as part of a small team of 4-5, you will be directly responsible for managing external agencies and contacts to deliver effective performance in PPC and Affiliate channels.

About you as the PPC Manager:

A great opportunity has arisen to join the eCommerce Team. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce and working as part of a small team of 4-5, you will be directly responsible for managing external agencies and contacts to deliver effective performance in PPC and Affiliate channels. Work closely with colleagues within the eCommerce team as well as other external agencies and our offline marketing and finance teams to meet the company's strategic and tactical objectives

Some of the main duties for the PPC Manager will include:

PPC

  • Manage external PPC agency from strategy to tactical implementation to deliver outstanding results on time and on budget
  • Challenge and support to ensure content & product is exposed in all relevant channels (offers briefed and correctly published). Action any changes required directly if needed
  • Track spend and manage overall budget. Ensure COS targets met and monitor ROI
  • Manage budget allocation against PPC/Shopping by supplier in conjunction with Marketing
  • Report on activity and be clear and authoritative on all details through weekly and monthly updates and reports. Ensure actions and tasks are captured and followed to completion
  • Monitor sessions, conv rate and AOV by channel against monthly targets

Affiliates

  • Manage and develop suitable affiliate marketing partner relationships, ensuring delivery and implementation meets expectations
  • Develop and manage commission strategy for each partner depending on product category, business volumes & AOV
  • Track spend and manage overall budget. Ensure COS targets met and monitor ROI
  • Ensure products, offers and affiliate feed are all correctly in place
  • Monitor sessions, conv rate and AOV by channel against monthly targets

Other

  • Review, assess and make recommendations to colleagues around traffic/behaviour on key landing pages in order to maximise conversion rate of paid traffic

Traffic Management Tools

  • Use channel-specific analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords etc) to produce performance analysis and recommend value-enhancing growth plans
  • Monitor and manage website search solution (SLI)
  • Receive and respond to Google Merchant Centre, AdWords alert emails etc

Skills and qualifications as a Principal Electrical Design Engineer:

  • Experience of using Google Analytics and Google AdWords
