c.£55k + Car & Package
I have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Construction Manager to join a busy, growing and family orientated company at their offices in Dorking. Working primarily for process companies in the water sector, they specialise in providing Mechanical & Electrical installation services on projects across the UK, often as part of long term frameworks in line with the Asset Management Periods associated with the water sector.
My client is a business that invests in personal development by providing the best possible training, resources, tools and equipment and they pride themselves on rewarding the right people based on their efforts and achievements, not their length of service within the business.
As the Pre-Construction Manager, you'll be ensuring estimates prepared by the tendering team are fully compliant with the companies processes and clients specifications. You'll also be reviewing cost estimates to ensure they're inline with the customers specifications, reviewing proposal documents, comparing costs on previous projects to ensure any "lessons learnt" have been applied.
Alongside the long term career opportunities and exposure to ongoing training & development programmes, The Pre-Construction Manager can also expect to be given the opportunity to join a leading specialist contractor that has secured work for years to come. They have a strong reputation with little competition from others in the market and there's also a salary & package that includes:
- Salary of c.£55k
- Car allowance of £6k
- 26 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- Private pension contributions
- 36 hour working week
- Cycle to work scheme
- Childcare vouchers and more
Pre-Construction Managers considering this opportunity will need to:
- Live within a reasonable commute of Reigate & Dorking
- Have excellent communication skills
- A degree or HND in an engineering or field
- Have experience of working in utilities (preferably water)
- Good eye for detail
- Familiar with the NEC suite of contracts
