I have an opportunity for a Pre-Construction Manager to join a busy, privately owned engineering business at their offices near to Redhill in Surrey. My client is a privately owned, growing and dynamic business that specialises in providing mechanical and electrical installation services for clients within the water utilities sector. Some of their clients include Thames Water, Anglian Water, STW, United Utilities and their main contracting partners. They are keen on investing in personal development, they make use of market leading tools and software and have built long lasting relationships with clients by providing accurate, professional advice and services.
As the Pre-Construction Manager, you'll be reporting to the Managing Director and liaising with the tendering, engineering and project teams on frameworks and contracts across the UK. You'll ultimately be responsible for ensuring estimates prepared by the tendering teams are fully compliant with the clients specifications, well presented and take into account all risks and opportunities.

Pre-Construction Managers considering this opportunity will need to have a degree or HND in an engineering discipline, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and knowledge of the NEC contract. . You'll also need experience in the utilities sector, ideally within water and on projects. The position would be well suited to an Estimator, Contract Manager or Project Manager with relevant sector experience and looking to progress their career into a pre-construction role.
