Brief
Principal Systems Engineer needed for a multinational maritime organisation based in multiple sites across the UK. They are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Principal Systems Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of DOORS, Verification and Validation. If you have knowledge of system design, performance analysis or any other system engineering disciplines we would love to hear from you
The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant engineering degree and have a keen interest in system design. If you have strong communication skills that would be a plus!

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Principal Systems Engineer will include:
Contributing to the elaboration and agreement of system requirements understanding the change in system capability against an established design baseline.
Analysing Date Exchange Specifications using their content to elaborate systems requirements and to direct system design.
Supporting the development of design specifications under guidance and carry out design activities in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards.
What experience you need to be the successful Principal Systems Engineer:
Ability to operate in a large, complex multi-project environment.
To have some knowledge & ability to grow skills in one or more of the following systems engineering disciplines:
Requirements Analysis
System Design
Human Factors
Interface Analysis
Performance Analysis
System Acceptance Management
Trials & Integration Support
Configuration Management
