Principle Aerospace Systems Engineer needed for a multinational defence organisation based in Salisbury who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Principle Aerospace Systems Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge using IBM DOORS, MBSE or V & V. If you have experience as a Principle Systems Engineer with the aerospace division who has worked on F35 we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate would desirably have a recognised aerospace qualification to at least HND standard.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Principle Aerospace Systems Engineer will include:
- Day-to-day leadership and management of Project and Programme engineering and technical teams.
- Act a Technical Leader to deliver high quality technical output to contracted time, cost and quality.
- Mentoring of other Systems Engineering staff and activities as required.
- Co-ordinating technical aspects of bids including delivery planning and estimates; generating innovative technical/solutions with an associated work breakdown structure.
- Promoting consistent use of relevant Systems Engineering processes, methods and tools.
What experience you need to be the successful Principle Aerospace Systems Engineer:
- Recognised aerospace qualification to at least HND standard.
- Significant technical experience of air platforms and the air vehicle life cycle;
- Experience of applying system engineering toolsets and paradigms such as IBM DOORS, MBSE, V & V, etc.
- F35 experience.
