Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (office x2 days per week, remainder working from home) 37.5 hrs

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 + packages.

The Project Managers will work in the following sectors. Experience in any of the following will be required: Offshore Wind, Green Hydrogen Production, Urban Energy Systems, Onshore Power Transmission & Distribution, Energy Storage, Carbon Capture and Storage

I am presently seeking candidates for the positions of Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to join our esteemed international client. These roles offer the opportunity to work in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for a variety of activities with an emphasis on Energy sector projects and associated innovative technologies supporting net-zero ambitions.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Project Manager?

• Your main objective will be to assist the energy industry in Scotland and the UK in achieving a net zero carbon economy, while establishing a center of excellence specializing in Industrial Decarbonisation & Hydrogen, Offshore Energy, Urban Energy & Future Energy Systems to cater to worldwide clients.
• You will possess a comprehensive P&P capability encompassing PMO, project controls, design integration, and strategic delivery guidance tailored to clients operating in the Energy, Water, Transport, Science, and Industry sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of transformational projects in the built environment from major transportation and water projects to energy projects critical to the UKs net-zero plans.
• This position entails project delivery for prominent energy sector corporations and leading wind farm developers.
• Additionally, you'll provide consulting and advisory services to both public and private sector clients within the energy market, emphasizing project management expertise.

What are we looking for in our next Project Manager?

• Relevant experience in the engineering consulting and/or energy industry, aligned with key markets outlined above.
• Achieved Chartership or are working toward chartership through a recognised UK or international institution in relevant discipline is desired.
• Knowledge and expertise of project management principles & the ability to apply these to a wide range of projects in the energy sector to deliver value to clients.
