Project Manager (Utilities)
West London
£450 to £500 per day (Inside IR35)
A 12 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with a background in water, power or gas utilities to join a leading main contractor in West London on a high profile infrastructure project.
Reporting to the Utilities Manager, the Project Manager will be taking responsibility for developing and leading on various works packages and having accountability for the delivery of the works with regards to safety, programme, cost and technical assurance. Some of your key duties will include:
- Managing both temporary and permanent supply connections
- Managing the disconnection and/or abandoning of existing utility services
- Managing the diversion of existing assets
- Managing the protection of existing assets
- Managing the output from the designs and offering construction expertise throughout the design phase
- Provide input into the procurement process
Project Managers considering this opportunity must have:
- Previous experience working within the utilities sector (preference for water experience)
- Previous experience of working in the UK for a main contractor or utilities sub contractor
- Excellent communication skills
The successful Project Manager will be offered a 12 month contract opportunity with a day rate of between £450 and £500 per day (inside IR35).
