Project Manager needed for a for a leading contractor based in Southampton who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Project Manager who will successfully assist in the planning, co-ordination and management of the projects within the business whilst retaining and exceeding customer expectations.

The successful candidate would have relevant experience within a public realm environment. This opportunity will allow you to become part of an award-winning organisation alongside a highly skilled team.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Directing and managing the project team to deliver projects to time, cost, quality targets and standards
• Ensuring safety targets and standards are maintained;
• Ensuring sustainability targets are achieved;
• Managing the customer relationship during delivery
• Ensuring the Company and Divisional procedures and policies are followed
• Managing and deliver operational excellence and efficiency;
• Utilising BIM, where appropriate, to optimise project delivery, quality and drive safety
• Effectively executing business strategy - Customer Focussed First, Construction Excellence and Innovation

Requirements

• Experience of project management within, highways maintenance, street lighting and public realm sector
• Experienced at working on multi stakeholder projects in highly political environments;
• Confident individual, with good leadership skills
• Financial and commercial awareness, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance;
