£60,000 to £80,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Project Manager with a background in delivering new build or refurbishment projects to join a leading main contractor on a £10m education project in Stoke on Trent. The Project Manager will quickly become an integral part of the site based team and taking responsibility for the project from Day 1. The Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and cable of coordinating a site team of different professionals from varying disciplines.
Some of the Project Managers key responsibilities will include:
- Leading site meetings with the project team
- Ensuring strict quality control procedures are followed
- Ensuring the project runs to program and remains withi budget
- Conduct weekly reviews of the progress against target performance
- Identify and provide resolutions to any problems
- Maintain long term relationships with the customer and stakeholders
- Provide an effective aftercare service to the client
- Maintain accurate site records
- Support the wider project team where possible
Project Managers considering this opportunity will need to have previously worked as a Construction Project Manager, ideally on either healthcare or education projects and live within a reasonable commute of the project in Stoke on Trent. You'll need strong leadership and people management skills, good technical knowledge and NEC contract knowledge.
