Are you a highly qualified and experienced Project Manager with a solid construction background? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Project Manager managing a £11million project.

As a Project Manager based out of Burnley hospital, you will take charge of managing the site and be the go-to person for all project-related matters. While some remote work may be required for administrative tasks, the role will primarily be site-based. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project and ensuring that it runs smoothly from start to finish.

• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Project Manager will include:

• Daily site management, ensuring all operations are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Handling tendering processes and budget/cost management to keep the project on track financially.
• Ensuring strict compliance with CDM regulations (Construction Design and Management) to maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to address any fire defects that may arise during the project.
• Utilizing your public sector background to navigate and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
• Liaising with various teams and professionals involved in the project to facilitate seamless coordination.

What experience you need to be the successful Project Manager:

• A strong background in the construction industry with prior experience in managing complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge and familiarity with CDM regulations and health and safety protocols.
• Ideally, experience in the healthcare sector and familiarity with PFI projects (Preferred, but not mandatory).
• Adept at managing budgets, tendering processes, and cost control.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
