Company Overview:
We are seeking a talented MEICA Project Manager to join a large tier 1 contractor within their utilities team, a strategic partner within the Thames Water Capital Frameworks. This utilities business unit is responsible for delivering design & build services for various infrastructure assets, both below and above ground. As the MEICA Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to the installation and upgrading of treatment and distribution assets.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities as the MEICA Project Manager will include:
Project Reporting: Ensuring comprehensive project reporting by collating Project on a Page and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), while actively engaging with the direct and supply chain workforce to ensure Health, Safety, and Well-being standards are met.
Design Integration: Holding accountability for the seamless design integration of M&E package plants and related control and automation systems.
Team Management: Management of the team including Project Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Mechanical or Electrical Supervisors.
Programme Ownership: Providing expert advice to the Project Planner on all Mechanical and Electrical aspects from design through to commissioning and handover.
Commercial Forecasting: Taking ownership of the commercial forecast for your projects, ensuring precise control of actual costs. You will participate in forecast reviews and final cost & value reviews with the commercial team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
Industry Experience: Previous experience working on similar utilities/capital projects
Technical Competence: Hold a relevant degree or similar with a strong technical background in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
