An exciting opportunity has arisen with a busy, privately owned cost & project management consultancy at their offices near to Brighton. As the Project Surveyor, you'll be joining a growing team of project managers & quantity surveyors at their new offices as they deliver projects valued to £20m for clients across the leisure and hospitality sectors.
The successful Project Surveyor will be joining one of five project delivery teams and working closely with a handful of clients on projects across the country. As the Project Surveyor, you'll be overseeing the delivery of the full life cycle of these projects which can include hotels, pubs, restaurants, clubs, fitness centres and others. Some of your duties will include:
- Providing tender advice
- Cost management
- Agreement of final accounts
- Contract negotiation
- Offering contract advice
- Subcontract management
- Cost reporting
- Contract administration
Project Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to come from either a Quantity Surveying, Project Management or Building Surveying background with between 1 and 4 years experience. You'll need to have an understanding of different forms of contract used in construction, excellent communication skills, have a high degree of personal motivation, happy working as part of a close-knit team and comfortable when working directly with clients.
