Project Surveyor

Job Title: Project Surveyor (PQS)
Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 + package

We are working with a large, well regarded cost and project management consultancy and they are looking for a talented, forward thinking and commercially savy Project Surveyor to join their team in Central London. The successful Project Surveyor can expect to be working on a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects including super prime residential, high specification commercial offices, mixed use developments, R&D facilities and luxury hotels.

The Project Surveyor will be working as part of a busy and professional team of Surveyors and Project Managers, often working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure their projects are delivered to specification and within budget. You'll be undertaking both pre and post contract duties, some of which will include:

• Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts
• Compile and analyze commercial data
• Develop and implement cost-saving measures where possible
• Work closely with clients, main contractors, stakeholders and the wider project team
• Offer support and guidance to the procurement process
• Monitor project progress throughout all stages of the project
• Where possible, provide technical advice and guidance to the project team

Requirements

• Degree qualified - ideally within a construction related field
• Experience of working on UK based projects within a PQS environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience of working closely with clients and stakeholders
• A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved
