Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 (based on experience)


Property Surveyor and Senior Property Surveyor required for a national organisation based in Lancashire who are looking to employ an experienced/ chartered Property Surveyor with previous or current knowledge of the property industry.

The successful Property Surveyor will want to work for this client not just for the exciting opportunity but due to the great wealth benefits including:

What the role involves:

some of the main duties of the Property Surveyor include:

  • Supporting renovation and regeneration activity
  • Providing guidance from a property viewpoint on the different possibilities available to the clients when looking at site consolidation and renewal initiatives
  • Clearing different types of property in different locations
  • Evaluating, recommending and investigating on property associated operational requirements for different clients
  • Reviewing and preparing development judgements and viability assessments
  • Carrying out tenant and landlord work on a variety of properties
  • Providing asset management and valuation support to surveying teams
  • Finding new business opportunities for clients

Property Surveyor key skills and experience:

In order to be the successful Property Surveyor and have an opportunity for working for this great client you'll need the following:

  • Professional qualification in property or related area, also a member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or working towards
  • Knowledge of the Blackburn and bordering areas' property market
  • Experience of being employed in a property environment
  • Experience of working on high level projects
  • Knowledge of processes and issues related to property management and valuation
  • Computer literate and knowledge of GIS, valuation and asset management databases
  • Providing verbal and written reports
  • Capability to work in a busy environment with good communication skills
