QHSE Manager
Kent
QHSE Manager needed for a well-established Energy from Waste plant based Kent. They are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded QHSE supervisor, manager or advisor who takes pride in their work with knowledge from Energy from Waste sector (or similar). The successful candidate will desirably have a degree within a relevant H&S study (science, chemistry or environmental), a NEBOSH qualification will be required. You will also need experience supervising or managing within an Energy from Waste plant or similar Process Industry such as Waste to Energy, Biomass, Power Stations etc.
What the role entails:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, as the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding, improving and developing new quality systems
- Carrying out Audits
- Ensuring compliance with all permits
- Provide tech support on environmental legislation
- Managing and ensuring monitoring system is accurately recording data
- Dealing with the QHSE budget providing input to the financial reporting
- Advise and guide all individuals working on projects with regards to the implementation of the HSE policies and procedure
