I am looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work out of Bristol / be remote for an urgent requirement. This is an ASAP start with an anticipated end date of the end of March next year. There is a high chance of an extension due to the amount of work they currently have on. SC clearance is required before you can start so it is highly desirable if you obtain it at present.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Quality Assurance Engineer will include:

The delivery of an exciting change project, implementing an accessible business management system for the client and rolling out an enduring and wide-reaching programme of process improvement. In support of this, a Lean Cell is being established, forming a central hub of lean expertise to deliver ongoing process improvement.

This role will be responsible for the design and implementation of the clients new Lean Cell, working closely with the Function Leads to deliver process improvement and standardisation across the agency.

Other responsibilities include designing and delivering a Learning and Development Plan.

Qualifications and experience in Lean methodology. Knowledge of 6Sigma advantageous.

What you need to be the successful Quality Assurance Engineer:

In order to be the successful Quality Assurance Engineer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

• Process improvement plan developed and initiated based on mapping prioritisation work and engagement feedback.
• Programme of user testing and the monitoring of process implementation embedded.
• Process improvement support provided to Function Leads, to enable roll-out of function-specific process required in support of Function stand-up.
• Lean operating approach established and agreed with Functions for implementation.
• Lean skills and development plan produced and implemented.
