Supplier Quality Specialist
(Isle of Wight 80%, Southampton and Wimborne 20%)
On Site Mon-Fri
£32-£42 per hour / 37.5hrs per week.
We are seeking a Quality & Inspection Specialist to support key suppliers within the UK.
Specifically on the Isle of Wight, Southampton and in Wimborne. This is an on-site role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct product verification and in-process inspections.
- Review First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
- Evaluate and accept Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
- Compile and present performance metrics and quality data.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal programme and engineering teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Working with Composite material is critical.
- Experience in quality assurance or inspection, with the ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production documentation, and technical specifications.
- Background in the production of composite, machined, and fabricated components and assemblies. Familiarity with the installation of electrical/electronic line replaceable units (LRUs), wiring looms, and fuel systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to AS9102 standards, including the ability to clearly communicate and resolve any non-conformances.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using various computer systems and software for data entry and reporting.
