An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor, either chartered with the RICS or nearly chartered to join an established, well regarded building consultancy at their offices in Brighton. The opportunity would be ideally suited to a Quantity Surveyor with PQS experience keen on working locally and avoiding the daily grind of commuting into Central London or elsewhere.

As the Quantity Surveyor, some of your key duties will include:
- The preparation of cost plans, budget estimates and tender documents
- Contract administration
- Post contract valuations and cost reporting
- Negotiation and agreement of final accounts
- Project management
- Hosting & attending site progress meetings
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to live within a reasonable commute of Brighton and have excellent communication skills and experience working for within a consultancy environment.
