Quantity Surveyor

A genuinely exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen with a leading infrastructure & specialist civil engineering contractor on a major project on the South Coast. The Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to join an experienced and professional team whilst also having the benefits of gaining exposure to a complicated yet highly interesting and high value secured project.

Some of the key duties & responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor will include:
- Subcontract management
- Procurement
- Cost reporting
- Value engineering
- Change management and measuring variations
- Supporting junior surveyors on the project
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have experience working for a large UK based main contractor and have some experience of working on a major civil engineering or infrastructure project. You'll also need to live within a reasonable commute of the site in Portsmouth and have good NEC contract knowledge.
