Quantity Surveyor
London/Home Based (with travel)
£40,000 - £50,000 + £5,000 travel allowance, package & expenses
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor with new build main contracting experience to join a specialist contractor that designs, manufacturers and installs carbon neutral buildings to the education and residential sectors across the UK.
The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a growing team, delivering a variety of projects with contract values of £750k to £20m. Each Quantity Surveyor will be given their own project/s to manage and you'll be working closely with the Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager and site teams. Some of your key duties will include:
- Procurement
- Monthly valuations
- Cost forecasting
- Final account negotiation
- Hosting project progress meetings
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be given the autonomy to manage their own project from start to finish alongside a competitive package that includes:
- Starting salary of £40,000 to £50,000
- £5,000 car/travel allowance
- 25 days annual leave
- Contributory Pension
- Discretionary bonus
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must be willing to travel. Your projects are scattered throughout the UK with current programmes in North London, Essex, the West Midlands & Greater Manchester. All expenses will be paid and you will be free to split your time between home and site as you see fit. You'll also need excellent communication skills and a proven track record of managing project costs from start to finish.
