Quantity Surveyor - Major Infrastructure Project (West London)
Contract | Inside IR35 | £500-£600 per day | Minimum 6 months
Hybrid: 3 days on site / 2 days remote

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking a driven and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship project in West London. This is a high-profile major infrastructure project offering the opportunity to work within a complex, fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful commercial delivery of a major programme.

The Role
You will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project, working closely with the commercial lead and wider delivery team. The position requires a proactive approach to cost management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing subcontractor procurement, administration, and final accounts
• Preparing and reviewing applications for payment and cost reports
• Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks
• Administration of the NEC contract
• Supporting change management and valuation of variations
• Liaising with project teams to ensure accurate financial control and forecasting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects in the UK
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-value environment
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
