£50,000 to £55,000 + car & package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor working on HS2 in the West Midlands. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a busy, professional site based team delivering large diameter piling, ground anchors, bulk earthworks, diaphragm walls, retaining walls, ground stabilisation and more.
The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, taking packages of work through the full life cycle from procurement to final account agreement. Some of your key duties will include:
- Measuring and valuing work undertaking by suppliers and subcontractors
- Review all weekly and monthly programmes of work
- Plan for the relevant commercial activities to be undertaken as per the programme of work
- Prepare cost reconciliation statements
- Support with the development of others within the commercial team
